Nevada Outstrips new Jersey Sportsbook Handle In June

Clark County, in which Las Vegas lies, managed $9.2 bn for the month and took in earnings of $906.7 m, up from $791m in June 2018.

For the second quarter of 2019, the state dealt with $7.09 bn from card, table and counter games - of which $967m originated from sports bets - and made $984.3 m of income, including $49.5 m of sports betting revenue. That marked a decline from profits of $1.01 bn in Q2 of 2018.

The state managed $28.66 bn on slots during the quarter, up from $28.06 bn in the previous year, and took in $1.97 bn, 2.75% year-on-year boost.

In overall, the state dealt with $35.75 bn throughout the quarter and took in incomes of $2.96 bn, 0.97% year-on-year increase.
